Ms. Palma received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of South Florida in 1995. While working toward her undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida, Ms. Palma worked full-time at J. Clifford MacDonald Center for three years teaching independent living skills to disabled adults. In Ms. Palma's junior year at the University of South Florida, Ms. Palma was accepted to the prestigious University of Uppsala in Sweden through the international exchange program, where she received top honors for Outstanding Student in 1994. While studying in Europe, Ms. Palma traveled to over 22 countries, including Russia and the Baltic States. Ms. Palma speaks fluent Spanish and is fluent in conversational Swedish.

Ms. Palma went on to receive her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida , December 1997. While attending Stetson, Ms. Palma participated in Mock Trial Advocacy and Opening Statement Competition, Semi-Finalist. Ms. Palma was honored when she was selected by her peers to represent Stetson College of Law at the annual National Association of Public Interest Law conference in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Palma established her law firm in 2000 and practices exclusively in the area of marital and family law. Clients have often commented on Ms. Palma's personalized and professional legal services. Her goal is to get an expeditious and equitable result for her clients and their children. Ms. Palma believes the best and most cost-effective way to resolve any family law matter is through effective negotiation. However, in those cases where the opposing side refuses to resolve the case equitably, then court intervention may be required. That is when Ms. Palma's eleven years of trial experience are utilized to protect the best interests of her clients and their children.

Ms. Palma is an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Family Law Inn of Court in Tampa, Florida where she was a professional award nominee in 2008. Ms. Palma also volunteers as an Attorney Ad Litem and is a current member of the well-respected LAMPLighters in Tampa , the main supporters for Metropolitan Ministries.
